Roles in Teaching

Lets talk about each of the mentioned roles of being a teacher. First a communicator. I remember what my grandma and mom used to say to my two older sisters on how to take care of their most precious tool as teachers…their voice,that they need not drink cold water after long hours of talking.

Yes voice is very important since teachers are communicators.They only not use their voice to communicate to students but also to share information and knowledge to their students. Being a teacher you are required to communicate to your students,be it through talking or in other means of communicating.

Secondly teachers are considered to be a disciplinarian.Is a person who enforces or advocates discipline aside from our very own parents,teachers are disciplinarian. It is really true. When I was young I guess I was more scared of my teacher than my mother. That’s how greatly teachers influence students. Teachers make sure that we are always doing the right thing. From the very simple thing to somewhat complicated things. She will make sure that
